Who we are and what we do with your personal data

Genuit S.r.l. based in via Mantova n.165, 46041 Asola (MN), as the Data Controller, is concerned about the confidentiality of your personal data and to guarantee to them the necessary protection from any event that may put them at risk of violation.

To this end, Genuit implements policies and practices having regard to the collection and use of your personal data and the exercise of your rights under applicable law. Genuit takes care to update the policies and practices adopted for the protection of personal data whenever necessary and in any case in case of regulatory and organizational changes that may affect the processing of your personal data.

How Genuit S.r.l. collects and processes your data.

1.Managing the websites belonging to the Owner and following up on your request to receive information

The Owner collects and/or receives information about you, such as: IP address, personal identifying information (first name, last name, e-mail address) issued when you register on the site.

They are used by the Data Controller to follow up on your request to receive information and are stored digitally for the purposes of services exclusively usable upon registration. The communication of your personal data takes place mainly towards third parties and/or recipients whose activities are necessary to carry out the activities inherent to the aforementioned purposes, and also to respond to certain legal obligations. Any communication that does not respond to these purposes will be subject to your consent in advance.

The Controller does not transfer your personal data outside the EU space. Your data will in no way be disseminated or disclosed to unspecified and unidentifiable parties.

2.Communication to third parties

Except for obligations imposed by applicable regulations, your data will not be disclosed to third parties/ recipients unless:

-you give permission;

-is necessary for the fulfillment of obligations dependent on the contract and legal regulations governing it (e.g., for the defense of your rights, for reporting to supervisory authorities, etc.);

-communication occurs with respect to

◦Companies and law firms to protect contractual rights;

◦Information technology services company for the management of services and their maintenance;

◦ Financial administration bodies, and public supervisory and control bodies to which Genuit must fulfill obligations arising from the specificity of the activity performed.

The personal data that Genuit processes for this purpose are:

-Name,

-surname,

-physical address,  

-email address,

-IP address,

-any other data released at the time of registration.

3.Information security

Genuit S.r.l. in compliance with legal obligations, processes your personal data by means of its suppliers authorized to manage the site in order to comply with prevention procedures against their violation, alteration or loss. 

4.Commercial promotions

The processing of your personal data is done to propose products and services to you in order to send you advertising material. The processing of your data (such as first name, last name, physical and telematic address, landline and/or mobile phone number) may take place via:

-e-mail;

-sms;

--social media;

-paper mail.

The processing in question can be carried out if you give your consent for the use of the data also with reference to the mode of communication by which the processing takes place;

Subject to your explicit consent, your data may also be disclosed to third parties such as: marketing-related service companies, companies that provide consulting or business information solutions, direct marketing, geomarketing, etc. These parties will process your data (first name, last name, work activity, physical address, email, landline and mobile phone number) for marketing purposes carried out on behalf of the Controller.

5.Profiling activities

Your personal data may be processed for activities to analyze your consumption habits and choices, establishing individual profiles in order to forward you commercial and promotional information relevant to your latest purchases and preferences.

The treatment in question can be carried out if:

-You give your consent for the use of the data also with reference to the methods of communication, both traditional and automated, by which the processing takes place;

-you did not object to the treatment and/or whether, if so, you did not specifically object. 

In case of processing, your data may be disclosed to third parties such as: service companies related to the profiling activity, companies that provide consulting or business information solutions, direct marketing, etc. These subjects process your data (first name, last name, physical address, email, landline and mobile phone number, information related to your business and/or work activity, information regarding your latest purchases, etc.) for the purpose of profiling carried out on behalf of the Data Controller.

What happens if you don't provide your data

Personal data about you and identifying you are necessary for the purpose of fulfilling the request you submitted through the "contact" section or, which, if not provided, make it impossible for the Holder to fulfill your requests.

What if you do not give your consent to the processing of your personal data for marketing purposes (direct, research and market surveys) specific to Genuit S.r.l. or for communication to third parties/recipients for marketing purposes pursued by them independently or for profiling activities?

The processing of your personal data will not take place for such purposes; this will not affect the processing of your data for the main purposes, nor for that for which you have already given your consent. In the event that you have given consent and should later revoke it or object to processing for marketing and/or profiling purposes, your data will no longer be processed for marketing and/or profiling activities, without any detrimental consequences or effects.

How and for how long your data are kept

The processing of data about you is carried out through both electronic and manual means and tools made available to individuals acting under the authority of the Controller and for the purpose authorized and trained.

Personal data are kept in electronic files protected by effective and adequate security measures to counter the risks of violation considered by the Data Controller. The data are kept for the time necessary for the fulfillment of information requests and sending of communications of such exclusive nature that the Data Controller makes following your request and in any case for a term not exceeding 1 year from the date of last modification, except in cases where events occur that involve the intervention of the competent Authorities (also in collaboration with third parties/recipients entrusted with the data security activity of the Data Controller) to carry out possible investigations on the causes that determined the event.

Personal data for marketing purposes (direct, market research and surveys) will be kept for 5 years, unless you revoke the consent you have given and/or unless you object to the processing.

Personal data processed for profiling purposes will be kept for 2 years unless you revoke the consent you have given and/or unless you object to the processing. 

What are your rights

Compatible with the limits especially time limits established for the processing of personal data concerning you, the rights you are granted allow you to be in control of your data at all times. Your rights are those of:

-access;

-rectification;

-deletion;

-limitation of treatment;

-opposition to treatment;

-Portability;

-propose complaints to the Supervisory Authority (Privacy Guarantor).

Your rights are guaranteed to you without special charges and formalities for requesting their exercise, which is essentially understood to be free of charge. You are entitled to:

-to obtain a copy, including in electronic format, of the data to which you have requested access. Should you require additional copies, the Controller may charge you a reasonable fee; 

-to obtain the deletion of the same or the limitation of the processing or even the updating and rectification of your personal data and that third parties/recipients in the event that they receive your data also comply with your request, unless legitimate reasons outweigh the ones that determined your request prevail (e.g., environmental investigations and risk containment determined by the emergency managed through them by the Owner); 

-to obtain any useful communication regarding the activities carried out as a result of the exercise of your rights without delay and in any case within one month of your request, unless a reasoned extension of up to two months is granted, which must be duly communicated to you. 

Who you can complain to

Without prejudice to any other action in administrative or judicial proceedings, you can file a complaint with the competent supervisory authority or the one that performs its duties and exercises its powers in Italy where you have your habitual residence or work or if different in the member state where the violation of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 occurred.

Cookie Policy

Based on the provisions of the General Provision of the Privacy Guarantor of May 8, 2014 "Identification of simplified procedures for information and acquisition of consent for the use of cookies," we provide some information about the cookies used in the Portal.

In detail, the Portal uses:

-Essential technical cookies necessary for the proper functioning of the Portal. They allow, for example, the navigation of pages and the storage of a user's login credentials to keep their session active while browsing.

-Profiling cookies to allow customization of data in the Restricted Area.

-Technical analytics cookies for the optimization of the portal itself, which may collect information in aggregate form, about the number of users and how this is visited.

The owner uses the Google Analytics service to perform some analysis on the access to the services made available on the site limiting its use to the sole purpose of analyzing the use of the site itself, therefore it does not authorize different uses or forwarding to third parties.
